I've been behind on editing some video I've shot over the last month or so. Here is the first I needed to complete. I was testing out an external mic with the GoPro on this one. I get a lot more wind noise on the KTM than I did on the DRZ. The external mic does a much better job of picking up more than just wind blast.

The 2014 Riding Season

Well, after the winter that would never end, it appears that the 2014 riding season has begun. It's time to wake myself from winter hibernation and get to work. I'm already a few ride reports and videos behind. I spent the winter months prepping the KTM 950 for my trip out west in July. I still have a few more bits to finish, but it's almost ready. In a couple of weeks I'll be riding it down to Laurel Fork with all the camping gear strapped on as a shake-down.

Lake Riding

I finally got around to trying out the ice screws I've had on my desk for over a year. I put about 800 in my knobbies and headed up to Conneaut Lake to do a little riding. I played around with my jetting a bit before I left and ended up going too rich, so I have a little tuning to do before I go out riding in the cold weather again. Check out the video below to see how it went.
